ABOUT KATRINA
When Shania Twain's biggest fan grows up and becomes a country artist, you get Katrina Burgoyne.
Originally from Gunnedah, New South Wales, Katrina landed in Nashville in January 2017 with three suitcases, a guitar, and just enough money to buy a salvaged-title car. Now just one month shy of a decade in Music City, she's building a family, a home, and a life in music — proof that the American Dream is still alive.
After two decades of making a full-time living playing cover gigs, Katrina made a deliberate shift toward her own original music, blending her fearless onstage personality with songs that speak directly to women's experiences — a sound she calls Spicy Country. Over the last five years, she's been road-testing new material across Tennessee, Alabama, Virginia, Florida, Illinois and Kentucky, gradually transforming bar sets into original shows and building a loyal fanbase one singalong at a time.
That momentum exploded in 2026 when Katrina began making waves on TikTok, carving out a lane by saying the things women in country music aren't always allowed to say. Her single "Back Up" went viral, accumulating over 4.5 million views prior to release and surpassing 200,000 Spotify streams organically — with zero playlist support. In May 2026 alone her content generated nearly 5 million organic views across TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.
Katrina is a 4x CMAA Golden Guitar nominee. Her songs have been recorded by Australian stars Amber Lawrence, Travis Collins and Taylor Moss, Scottish country favourite Lisa McHugh, and American country legend Lorrie Morgan. She has toured alongside Kasey Chambers and Catherine Britt, opened for Troy Casser-Daley, the McClymonts and Lone Star, and earned the praise of Lee Kernaghan.
2026 marks twenty years as a full-time musician — and the release of her most personal and boldest album yet, Country & Spice. This November and December, Katrina brings the American Honky Tonk Roadshow home to Australia — celebrating almost a decade in Nashville by bringing her full Nashville band to Queensland and New South Wales for eight unforgettable shows.
