Independent country artist Katrina Burgoyne is bringing fire, flirtation, and fearless honesty with her brand-new single, “Stones,” available now on all streaming platforms.
Written by Katrina Burgoyne and award-winning songwriter Bill Whyte, and produced by Steve Kinney at Saxman Studio, “Stones” is a bold honkytonk anthem that calls out the talkers and lifts up the doers. With tongue-in-cheek lyrics and a boot-stomping groove, the song flips traditional gender roles on their head and sets the bar high for what it means to be a “real man.”
“It’s cheeky, flirty, and unapologetically honest,” says Burgoyne. “So many women came up to me after live shows saying, ‘That song is exactly how I feel.’ It’s become one of my most-requested tracks—so we knew it had to be the next release.”
“Stones” is the second installment in an 8-week waterfall release campaign leading into Katrina’s upcoming EP—a collection of fun, uptempo, 90s-inspired country songs crafted for millennial mammas who love a little grit with their glam.
With consistent live shows across Tennessee and Kentucky, over 1,500 fan subscribers, a 400+ text list, and a growing presence on TikTok and YouTube, Katrina is building a grassroots movement rooted in authenticity, empowerment, and a whole lot of sass.
